To Dance in Perfect Balance is to Dance a Dream
Block Print Collection by Barbara St.Jean
Priced at $100 for each print or $250 for sets of 3 Framed, not matted.
The technique use in this series is very informal. Each lino block was hand carved and inked using the old method of hand application and pressing giving each print a simplistic style and uniqueness of its own. After the first inking is set an over inking together with gold/metallic/colour pen embellishments are then applied. No two prints are the same and the slight imperfections add originality to each piece. The paper used is good quality 8.5” x 11” card stock.
Actual print sizes are approximately 4”x 6” or slightly larger. For full selections see:

About Barbara St Jean
Barbara St. Jean was born in Maple Ridge, BC. At the age of four she was introduced to Belle Morse from the Maple Ridge Merry Makers and her career in the arts was started. Over the next 26 years she studied dance and acting, and performed in hundreds of well known theatre productions throughout the province. Many of her performances have been televised and are still shown today. In 1980 Barbara opened her own dance studio in Mission, BC and shortly after, received her accreditation in choreography. She graduated from university in 1989 with a degree in Business and Economic Management. Her love of the arts continued to grow and expanded into drawing, sculpting and painting in the early 80’s.
