Between the Frames, Song (lyrics) by Barbara St. Jean
....
A time to think and a time to dream
It isn't always peaches and cream
Clouds and eagles fly under the stars
Scammers often scheme in the bars
......
Once the music became a whisper
And the town went home to slumber
He sees the man with anger in his eyes
Greed and fame have been his prize
.....
Bridge
1 plus 1 equals 2
But 2 plus 2 made it true
Two hearts are better than one
He said Annie I am your gun
1 and 1 had equalled 2
But 2 and 2 made it true
.....
Worry brought him to her they said
Her words running through his head
Now he stands at the foot of her stairs
Wondering if the man would even dare
....
Chorus
One note in a bottle
One poem on the net
One song sung together
All the music in his head
.....
A time to think and a time to dream
It isn't always peaches and cream
Time to tell her about...
