Truthfully the bile was coming up in his mouth again as the picture of the accident scene floated back into his vision. He swallowed hard and continued to watch the Chief who was intently watching him. Then after a few more minutes of silence the Chief motioned for someone that was standing behind him to move forward. He turned his gaze to see the Medicine women sitting up on her horse a few feet behind him. He hadn't heard her ride up. He looked back at the Chief who said; “We will help you with the girl, but you must do everything we say or we will kill you both”. He let that sink in before nodding his head to the Chief in agreement. The Chief got up, picked up his bear skin rug and walked back inside his Tepee. His gaze followed the Chief until disappearing inside and then he stood up and turned around looking straight up at one of the biggest Indians he had ever seen. Another one stood to the side and held up Blue’s reins as if to say got your horse too ass-hole. Blue had a look on his face as if to say, ya sorry.
