She needed doctoring, but the closest Doc was some thirty miles away in the town of Clinton. She�d never make it that far, that much he knew for sure. He looked at her dirty face again and then at her bare breasts touching his chest with only his worn out old canvas coat between them. His eye fixed on the tiny rose buds coming to a point of perfect perfection at the slightest touch. Barbara St. Jean was born in Maple Ridge, BC. At the age of four she was introduced to Belle Morse from the Maple Ridge Merry Makers and her career in the arts was started. Over the next 26 years she studied dance and acting, and performed in hundreds of well known theatre productions throughout the province. Many of her performances have been televised and are still shown today. In 1980 Barbara opened her own dance studio in Mission, BC and shortly after, received her accreditation in choreography. She graduated from university in 1989 with a degree in Business and Economic Management. Her love of the arts continued to grow and expanded into drawing, sculpting and painting in the early 80’s.
