The day was July 27Th in the year of the Lord 1862.

The cabin was cold and a bit damp. The fire had long since gone out in his two day absence. His eyes travelled around the room. Nothing looked out of place. He walked over to the one and only bed and gently laid her down. He un-wrapped her small form to examine her bruised and battered body a little closer. He needed to get that blood covered rank smelling dress off her before doing anything else. He took his knife from its sheath on his belt and cut the rest of the fabric away from her body. About Barbara St Jean
Barbara St. Jean was born in Maple Ridge, BC. At the age of four she was introduced to Belle Morse from the Maple Ridge Merry Makers and her career in the arts was started. Over the next 26 years she studied dance and acting, and performed in hundreds of well known theatre productions throughout the province. Many of her performances have been televised and are still shown today. In 1980 Barbara opened her own dance studio in Mission, BC and shortly after, received her accreditation in choreography. She graduated from university in 1989 with a degree in Business and Economic Management. Her love of the arts continued to grow and expanded into drawing, sculpting and painting in the early 80’s.
