This Story Art Painting depicts the journey of the first explorers on the Magdalen Islands on the East Coast of Canada. The first explores are said to have arrived early in the 16th century although many believe it was before that. This Painting has Magdalena herself sitting on a cliff watching the ship being unloaded. One can only wonder what was going on in her mind. By Barbara St. Jean.
