The day was July 27Th in the year of the Lord 1862.

He took Blues reins from the large man and then watched the big Indian easily vaulted on a painted horse and walk away in the direction of the cabin. He climbed onto his horse’s back, glad Blue was packing him for his own legs felt a little shaky right then, and followed the Medicine woman and her chaperon back into the bush with the second big Indian following along behind him. It didn't take long to reach their destination; the Indians knew a short cut that he did not. As the crow flies, he noted, they were actually pretty close neighbours, less than a mile apart. About Barbara St Jean
Barbara St. Jean was born in Maple Ridge, BC. At the age of four she was introduced to Belle Morse from the Maple Ridge Merry Makers and her career in the arts was started. Over the next 26 years she studied dance and acting, and performed in hundreds of well known theatre productions throughout the province. Many of her performances have been televised and are still shown today. In 1980 Barbara opened her own dance studio in Mission, BC and shortly after, received her accreditation in choreography. She graduated from university in 1989 with a degree in Business and Economic Management. Her love of the arts continued to grow and expanded into drawing, sculpting and painting in the early 80’s.
